it was very clean and spacious. coffee machine and kettle in the room and mini fridge. very centrality located, just a minute walk into the town. The big bath was a highlight for me. lovely comfortable bed.

The location is amazing as it is so close to the lake and it is easy to travel to other attractions. The on-site parking is a plus especially in a busy tourist location with limited public parking. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

  A Stellar B&B. Wow. Oakfold House is a premier choice for staying in The Lake District. The hosts are very kind and generous, while constantly working to maintain their very high standard.
