Loved the location, was literally a 2 minute walk to the Roman Baths and the Abby. We were a family of three, so having the extra bedroom for our daughter was perfect. The main room was very large as well as the bathroom. Loved the view of the little courtyard.

Wonderful, World Heritage site Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.
Check out the stained-glass windows in the abbey, England’s last remaining Gothic church. Its square houses Pump Rooms dispensing hot spring water from the Roman baths.
Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the Avon River overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-level Pulteney Weir and registered historic Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. Other Bath shopping options include Southgate Shopping Centre, the bohemian Walcot Street market, and brand-name stores on Milsom and George streets.
North is The Circus, a circular square lined with Georgian townhouses, only marginally less impressive than the Royal Crescent down the road. You can now visit number 1 Royal Crescent, restored to its 18th-century glory.
Before heading to Bristol Airport from your Bath hotel, take time to try the famous Sally Lunn Bun and stop at the pleasant pubs along the Kennet and Avon Canal.

It is a UNSCEO protected city and it has many attractions all of which are accessable. The city centre is pedestrianised so it is easy to walk around. it is clean and friendly, with a great choice of cafes, bars and restaurants. It had a lovey atmosphere with all age groups milling around.

We loved walking around old Bath.
We loved walking around old Bath. There's a free Mayor's Ambassador walking tour but we were not able to make it. I would try next time. The Roman Baths were very much worth touring. Definitely book online. Free audio tour. Bath Abbey is beautiful. We entered for a worship service. The choirs are amazing. We also walked around inside after the service. Many great restaurants. Be sure to try the hotstone steak place! We drove to Stonehenge and Avebury Henge. Both were astounding. We ended our 4 days with a trip to Thermae Bath Spa. Delightful!

The architecture in Bath is amazing. The Roman Baths take your breath away!
The city was easy to walk around and the large vehicle free zone was much appreciated.
The gorgeous parks gave us a peaceful feeling after visiting the many tourist hotspots.
Bath is also a great place to use as a base to visit other places.
We caught the train to Bradford On Avon, not far from Bath.

Opportunity of joining in morning prayers 🙏🙏. Our meals at All bar one & Miller & Carter were very good. The Lansdown Grove hotel was really good & had lovely staff. Also pleased we stayed there as able to walk into bath although steep walk had choice of regular busses or taxis.

Bath is a great city.
Bath is a great city. It was the accommodation that was the problem, we were entirely mislead by photos of the interior and exterior.
Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants are a bit pricey.
Lots to see and do.

this is a lovely city to visit, and I really enjoyed what there was to do and the dining options were great!
I would visit again!
The Roman Bath tour is wonderful, and I really enjoyed the Thermae Bath Spa - highly recommend it! It was easy to take the train to Salisbury and see Stonehenge from here as well.
It is easy to get around walking or else jump in a taxi. We took the train to Bath from London - 1 1/2 hours so easy to get to.
I was disappointed in the hotel we stayed at and would not go there again, but it looks like there are many other lovely places to stay.
My opinion is strongly formed by the fact that I found traditional english hotels very attractive. O lot of old decor, which I liked :) however, rooms and generally the whole place was clean and tidy. There you might see some faults, which however can be expected from such an old building. I loved it. Although if you fancy nice breakfast, rather head to nearby Bath where you can find a lot of great restaurants. Limpley is a great spot to doscover Cotswolds :)
Also we had a standard double, but the view out of the window was awesome :)
One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Staff were lovely and most helpful. We were served by Clio and she was brilliant.
The hotel is clean and modern, a very pleasant place to be.
The location is perfect, right in the centre of Bath with everything you need within a few minutes walk.
Facilities are fantastic. Lovely Swimming pool with Sauna and Steam room to use free of charge.
We were worried about there being no car park but there is a very large public carpark 3/4 minutes walk away with ample spaces (Charlotte Street).
This is one of the best boutique hotels I have stayed at so far. It is in an old 18th century building but was recently renovated. The decour, the choice of colours (loved the royal blue with white), the finishing, the attention to detail - everything was superb. Our room faced the inner garden that added to the beauty of the place. The bed was super comfortable, there was also slippers and robes for the guests. The staff was very nice, helpful and responsive. When I am in Bath again, I will definitelystay in Kennard again!
The room was great. Spacious, clean, well presented and a large well done bathroom. Steve was really friendly and helpful; offering advice on places to go and the best ways to get there.
The location was great for exploring Bath. It was close enough to the city centre for my (6 month pregnant) wife and I to comfortably walk to and from. But it was far enough out to be quiet in the night.
The breakfast options was a good selection.
A great base for exploring Bath.
Beautiful hotel. Rooms clearly newly refurbished. Staff super helpful. Perfect place just outside Bath. Will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone that plans to go there. The most amazing time! Food was superb! Couldn't fault anything! Truly the best part of the trip! Couldn't get over how beautiful the rooms were!! The fields around the hotel gave it a more relaxing feeling which allowed for beautiful views of the sunset. Couldn't recommend this place more!!!!
Really nice rooms, comfortable beds, large bathrooms, and incredible breakfast and coffee. We stayed during an unseasonably hot week in summer and the rooms were quite warm and didn’t cool down. They did have fans but some were broken or not hooked up correctly (no water tank hooked to the portable unit) which made sleeping tough. Overall, nice hotel with friendly staff and wonderful food. The heat was the only downside.
the size of the room and space in bathroom. comfy bed. good access into property when required as separate access to accommodation. no breakfast provided due to Covid but excellent cafe recommended by the hotel up the road. very friendly staff. shame did not get chance to sample the beers in the bar but on official engagements elsewhere in Bath. Good car park. easy walk into centre and cheap enough for a taxi back.
The location is right in the heart of Bath which was ideal for restaurants, bars, pubs and also the attractions in the day time.
The room was modern and very clean with everything that we could have needed.
We did select the windowless room but this was still fine as it was quiet in the hotel and the room was comfortable for us.
Would definitely consider booking with Z Hotel again when coming back to the area.
Hotel is in a fantastic location. We received a room upgrade and had a large suite which was beautiful - very comfortable and spacious and a lovely bathroom. Nice towels. Room service was okay. Free EV charging (included in the - expensive - cost of the car park + valet service). Concierge was quite good.
My family & I liked everything about the hotel. Very pleasant stay. The pool Spa was extraordinary, great experience for us. Thank you so much to all the staff for the most wonderful stay. We would highly recommend and definitely be returning to this lovely hotel when we visit Bath again in the future.
Tranquil setting for a Bath city centre hotel with the added luxury of being opposite the park with car parking available. Hotel staff are amazing, respectful and take covid security seriously for all visitors. It’s good they care. Breakfast is the best and Afternoon Tea is a “must do”!
Very nice airy and bright fantastic location not to far from city centre, amazing reception when we first walked in the hosts were amazing they had a certain panache about them I would highly recommend Brindleys B&B in bath, over high profile hotels thank you we will be back shortly
We had an a surprise room upgrade on arrival which was excellent. The location of The Francis Hotel is very central to Bath. All main attractions a few minutes walk away from the hotel. We weren't disturbed by any loud traffic noise either - rooms very well sound proofed.
Excellent, friendly welcome on arrival. Helpful and attentive.
Room was spacious, comfy and clean.
Breakfast was superb.
Location was ideal for the centre on Bath, with the provision of on-site parking being the main draw when compared to hotels in the city centre.
Very clean, plenty of room, modern facilities, fully equipped kitchen, smart TV. Friendly and helpful hosts. Much better value for money compared to a hotel. Location only a short walk away from Bath city centre and shops. Off the main road, so very quiet inside.
We stayed in Zen room which was spacious, well decorated and had a lovely en suite bathroom. Lovely views of the garden and within easy walking distance to Bath city centre. Able to park at the hotel.
It was amazing! Lovely spacious apartment, very comfortable, well appointed and very quiet. Staff really friendly and helpful. Minutes walk from city centre. Best we’ve ever had in Bath.
